How I Coach It: Breathing
Hands down the biggest change I’ve made in my programming over the last year is programming breathing as sets and reps.
It probably shouldn’t have taken a global pandemic for me to realize people need some deep breathing in their lives, but it did.
Breathing can range from planks for exhales, or isometric holds for a total number of inhales and exhales all the way to deep inhales and exhales to calm the body down.
