How I Coach It: Hip Thrusts

If Crossfit rejuvenated Olympic lifting, then TicTok rejuvenated the hip thrust.

No doubt, that if you want a developed backside than the hip thrust is a key movement to learn and progress.

It’s been a mainstay in my programming for the better part of a decade from warm ups to a spine sparing lower body movement.

In the following video I cover A LOT of information ranging from, starting on the floor with bodyweight, all the way to adding a plate, kettlebell (and why those implements) and then the holy grail of shoulders elevated and a barbell added.
